About Janeen 

With a decade background in Interior Design, I found half the enjoyment was seeing designs come to life once the project was passed on to a contractor. This drove me into a project management role in a custom home build company where I was able to gain a strong understanding of construction costs, materials, installation details, trades and timelines.

30 + new home builds and countless renovations later, I now have a deep understanding of the design + construction process.  Along the road I designed 2 new builds for myself + 2 kids, and moved 12 times (I kid you not!), I've learned what a home needs to function well, allowing me to make purposeful design choices.

I understand taking on a major construction project can be overwhelming. I'm a big believer that it should also be fun! ​I will be the instigator of having a glass of wine or two together to celebrate the wins as the project progresses, with the common goal of creating a final product that showcases the character of the space and the people who live within.

When I'm not working, you'll find me with my nose in a book, outside hiking, or at the beach near my home in Trout Creek, Summerland.
